“That which does not kill you makes you stronger”. Truer words were never spoken, though I hate to admit it. I greatly prefer things nice and easy, tranquil, smooth, nonplussed….detecting a pattern? But change/growth never happens this way – - at least not for me. Call it “only child/Daddy’s Girl Syndrome”, but I expect perfection. At all times. And that’s just how it is. Thank you very much! Ahh, but life just does not happen that way. So, the challenge (should you choose to accept it) is how to turn a seemingly negative into a positive. No wallowing (no one cares anyway!). No pity parties. You’ve got to keep it moving.

And then there’s the scariest question of all – - what do you really want to do?!

9/28 was my last day at a large health care company in Hartford. Strangely, I wasn’t upset. Surprised, yet not upset. Corporations don’t mourn – - so neither should I. I’d worked on average 10-14 hrs. per day as a Senior Project Manager for months. I loved what I did and was every engaged in the organization, but that’s over. Finito! I believe that everything happens for a reason and I take my sudden departure as a sign that I should be doing something else. Something wonderful. Something great. So, instead of being a heap on the floor, I’m hopeful. I’m not exactly sure what it is that I want to do next, but bring it on. I’m ready
